Punctured Tire

Spread the love

24 Feb 2011

I had completed my work at Kemaman, Terengganu the previous day and had traveled by plane back to Kuala Lumpur in the morning. Because I had the afternoon free, I decided to service my car instead of waiting for the coming weekend. That coming weekend, I had planned to do the servicing of the car after I had driven it back to my hometown in Butterworth.

I didn’t realize it, but my front left tire was actually punctured. And so when I drove to the car workshop for servicing, I had complained to the supervisor that there was a sound when I was turning the steering wheel even when driving slowly.

As it turned out, the tire was found to be damaged and a spare had to be installed.

This incident prompted me to reflect on the protection from God. If I had not serviced my car because I had some free time, I would have driven my car long distance along the highway with the intention of going back to my hometown for servicing. I would be in big trouble if something happened while I was along the highway. My tire might have burst when driving at high speed and I could be involve with an accident or even killed!
