Choose to Die Empty

Spread the love

Somebody once told me that there is a motivational book called, “Die Empty”, whose author was inspired to write after he got a flash of inspiration from the director of a business meeting who said that the richest land in the world is the cemetery. Does this sound ridiculous to you?

Actually, that is quite true! What he was trying to emphasize was the fact that many people had died carrying with them many valuable ideas that did not come to light and benefited others. That is a sheer waste isn’t it?

The author’s guiding principles and checkpoints in the book include:

  • Define Your Battles: Counter aimlessness by defining your goals wisely and build your life around achieving them.
  • Be Fiercely Curious: Prevent boredom from dulling your senses by approaching your work with a curious mindset.
  • Step Out of Your Comfort Zone: Make a valuable contribution to the world by getting uncomfortable and embracing lifelong growth and skill development.

The most beautiful of what he said in his book is: “Don’t go to your grave with your best work inside of you. Choose to die empty.”

Encouraged by his words, I too want to die empty.

Since I have created the world’s first Divine Mercy Image with Rays that Glow, and with reference to the promises written in the diary of St. Faustina, I aim to share it with the world so that I too can die empty, knowing that it will greatly benefit those who believe and respond.

Will you help spread this?
