When a servant does not know where he stands with the master, there will be conflict. He will argue, fight or cause disruptions – but finally he will be subdued. It happens all the time. Perhaps it is human nature to rebel against authorities if the human could not get his way. But very often, the humans do not know who he/she is compared to the Master.
A humans is just a mere speck of dust in a whole vast universe consisting of huge stars, many, many times the size of our sun, planets, Milky Way and other galaxies. He does not know how his body works, and how the plants grow. So many diseases have suddenly sprung up one after another due to his errors, trying to solve one problem while creating other problems. Cancers, bird flu come immediately to mind.
Man does not know how to live peacefully with his neighbors. He is always trying to outdo one another, trying to create more wealth for himself, but unfortunately, in the process ruins the environment where he is to live. The technological advances in science and technology does not help very much when with the large forces of nature like earthquakes, hurricanes, typhoons, tsunamis, whole cities can be broken off like matchsticks.
Neither can governments offer lasting solutions to problems. One country does not agree with another country. Ideology difference somehow makes people mistrust one another. Everybody wants only good for themselves. Others do not matter at all. How can man live peacefully if he does not care what happens to his neighbor?
Everybody thinks that he is right. Unfortunately, his knowledge is so limited. He claims to follow the instructions of God, but how can he know the thoughts of God if he does not know the difference between him and God. The difference is so vast…. When you have done all that you have been told to do, you must say: ‘We are no more than servants; we have only done our duty’ Luke 17:10
